Who we are
Lock Leaks is a service of AD BOOST S.R.L., a company registered in Romania. We act as an authorized agent for creators and agencies, and send copyright notices on their behalf under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and similar laws in other countries, including the notice-and-action rules of the EU Digital Services Act.
How we send notices
Before we send any notice:
- we confirm the creator's identity and that they own the content, or have written authorization to act for the owner;
- our software finds possible copies, and a person on our team confirms each match;
- we only report pages that show the content itself, not pages that just mention the creator.
Each notice identifies the original work, lists the URLs of the copies, gives our contact details as agent, and includes the statements of good faith and accuracy the law requires. We use the creator's stage name; their legal name is not included unless the law requires it.
If you received a notice from us
It means a creator, through us, believes a page you control shows their content without permission. You can remove the content, or, if you believe it was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice as described below. If you think we have the wrong page or the wrong person, reply to the notice and tell us. We read every reply.
How to send a counter-notice
A counter-notice must be in writing and include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and phone number;
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
Send it to support@lockleaks.com with the subject “Counter-notice”, or to the platform that removed the content.
What happens next
We share your counter-notice with the creator and review the case with them. If the notice was a mistake, we withdraw it and tell the platform. If the creator still believes the content is theirs, the platform will follow its own process, which may include restoring the content unless the creator takes legal action.
False claims
Knowingly sending a false notice or counter-notice can make the sender liable for damages. We do not allow our service to be used to remove content a person does not own, or to silence criticism, reviews, news or parody. Accounts that make false claims on purpose are closed.
