GOOGLE AT A GLANCE

Fans find leaks on Google.
Delisting cuts off the traffic.

Most people looking for leaked content start with a search for your name. Google can remove pages and images that infringe your copyright from its results, even when the leak site itself ignores your notice.

Risk levelHigh● Your name is searched with "leaked"● Image results show your photos● New leak pages get indexed fast
01

Why Google matters

Leak sites live on search traffic. If they disappear from the results for your name, far fewer people ever see them.

Google takes copyright removal requests through its legal removal form and acts on valid requests from you or your agent.

FREE GUIDE

Remove your content from Google yourself

Google has two routes that work for leaks: the copyright troubleshooter and the personal content form for intimate images. The steps below are for copyright. The other routes are further down.

Before you startGoogle may send a copy of your request to the Lumen archive. Google says it does not share the submitter's personal contact information with Lumen, but your name can be shown, so use your stage or business name.

1

Open the troubleshooter and pick Google Search

Choose Google Search, then where the content appears (Images, or Other for web pages), then Legal Reasons to Report Content → Copyright. Answer Yes to being the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.

Fill in your details, the same way every time

Name → your stage name or business name. Country → where you or your business are based. Email → a separate email alias. Company → your brand, or leave it empty.

●Keep one identity. Use the same name and email on every report. The ownership statements you sign must be true. Lock Leaks members skip this step: we file as your agent.
3

Describe your original work

Describe what was copied, for example photos and videos from my subscription page. Under "Where can we see an authorized example of the work?" paste your official page URLs. That is the easiest proof of ownership.

Original workPhoto and video content that I created and own, published only on my official pages (links below). I never gave consent for it to be shared anywhere else.
InfringementThe URLs listed above copy my copyrighted photos and videos from my official pages and publish them without my consent.
4

Add the infringing URLs

Paste one URL per line. Google only removes the exact URLs you list, so add every page you find, including page 2 and 3 of the results and image pages.

5

Sign and submit

Confirm the statements and sign with the same name you used above. You get a confirmation email, and each URL is reviewed. You can follow the status in the Legal Removals dashboard of your Google account.

Ask the site tooDelisting hides the page from Google, but the file stays online. Send a notice to the site and its host as well, and use Google's "Remove outdated content" tool once a page is really gone.
Personal details in resultsIf results show your home address, phone number or email, use the separate Results about you tool in your Google account. It is not a copyright request.
THE OFFICIAL FORMS

Every way to report on Google

Google uses a different form for each problem. These are the real ones, with the fields they ask for, in order. Pick the one that matches what happened.

Google removes pages and images from its search results when a valid copyright request shows they use your work without permission. It does not delete the files from the website itself.
